ARTI I QERAMIKËS NË SUVENIRE: PROMOVIMI I TRASHËGIMISË  KULTURORE

The main goal of this project was to build the capacity of archaeological museums to meet modern visitor expectations through the creation of high-quality cultural heritage souvenirs—ceramic figurines and artifact replicas inspired by national museum collections. The initiative also supported women-led micro-businesses by strengthening entrepreneurial skills and expanding economic opportunities through heritage-based enterprise development.

Project results included research visits to museums and a review of best practices from neighboring countries, followed by the preparation of an implementation roadmap aligned with visitor and market needs; hands-on work in an artisan ceramics workshop covering modeling, shaping, firing, painting, finishing, and the production of bases for each piece. The project concluded with the opening of a souvenir stand at the Archaeological Museum of Tirana and a dedicated media campaign that showcased the work, heritage value, and the women artisans’ entrepreneurial achievements.
