The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Group for Integration and Democracy (GID), implemented the project RiArt, on the core of which was an exhibition, featuring 20 emerging young artists selected at the national level by GID and a dedicated Artistic Advisory Council convened specifically for this event. The exhibition was designed within the Ministry’s strategic focus on protecting and promoting cultural heritage and advancing policies that support the development of art and culture under the motto “The Future Is in the Origin”, reflected in the event theme “E ardhmja është në origjinë”. RiArt project aimed to provide structured opportunities for young artists to showcase and sell their work while gaining national and international visibility.
RiArt project activities included the production of promotional materials, a public project kick-off event with 80 participants, information sessions for emerging artists in both Tirana and Shkodra and the design, creation, and continuous update of the online presentation portal that showcased participating artists in both personal and collective digital exhibitions. The project concluded with a public closing exhibition event in June 2021 at Reja, Tirana, attended by 100 participants, accompanied by the publication and printing of an RiArt artist catalog, which served as a curated showcase for collectors and potential buyers worldwide, offering a timeless digital gallery experience and positioning the portal as a global meeting point for art collectors, curators, and cultural enthusiasts.
